ADA Compliance

We want everyone who visits the Victor Central School District's website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding.

What are we doing?

Victor Central School District recognizes the importance of ensuring that our website is accessible to those with disabilities.

To help us make the website a positive place for everyone, we've been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone.

The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). We’ve chosen Level AA as the target for our website.

Pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Amendments Act of 2008 (ADAAA), Titles I and II of the ADA of 1990, and Sections 503 and 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Victor Central School District strives to adhere to the accepted guidelines and standards for accessibility and usability for all segments of our community.

How are we doing?

We've worked hard on our website and believe we've achieved our goal of Level AA accessibility. We monitor the website regularly to maintain this, but if you do find any problems, please get in touch.

Let us know what you think

If you enjoyed using our website, or if you had trouble with any part of it, please get in touch. We'd like to hear from you.
