In this day and age, it's important for all of us to live by the mantra, "see something, say something." Today, our students did the right thing by reporting an alleged threat. Although it was determined to be unfounded, we commend these students for their actions.

The attached message will be shared through our various electronic communications (listservs, Facebook and Twitter) and the media.

VCS Investigates Alleged Threat

This morning, Victor Central School administrators and the School Resource Officer investigated an alleged threat reported by students. After a thorough investigation it was determined that the allegation was unfounded.

VCS takes the safety and security of students and staff very seriously and is grateful for students and staff for being proactive when they see or hear anything suspicious. A see something, say something culture is critical to keeping everyone safe.
