November 2018 NEWSLETTER
During Fire Safety week, children had an opportunity to learn safety tips and loved having a chance to meet with members of the Fire Department and see the trucks! Thank you to the Victor Fire Department for giving generously of their time to teach our students about fire safety.
Our Open House was a huge success! It was wonderful to see the children enthusiastically sharing their school life with all of you.
During Red Ribbon week our theme was "Proud To Be Me". Children had many opportunities to interact with literature focused on celebrating individuality and thinking about the qualities that make them special! Thank you to the Victor PTSA for supporting Red Ribbon week!
Your child's safety is always a priority and to that end, the children have had opportunities to practice fire drills and lock down drills. An area of safety that we need your help with is around best practices that keep all children safe when they are on our campus, especially during peak times such as arrival and dismissal. If you could take a moment to remind your child of the safety procedures below it will help keep all of our students safe. · Students must stay beside an adult in the parking lot at all times · Cross only at the crosswalk · Always wait for the bus driver's signal before crossing Thank you for your help!
We hope you have many opportunities to get out and enjoy the beautiful fall foliage in the weeks ahead!
