This morning, the District conducted a lock down drill. I am pleased to share with you that our students and staff gave us their full cooperation and the drill ran smoothly.
Ongoing safety drills are required by the New York State Education Department, and provide good practice for students and staff in the event of a real emergency. The safety of our students and staff is a priority, and drills are an important way to practice and improve protocols and procedures.
For those of you that might have tried to call or access our buildings during this drill, we appreciate your understanding and support.
