How to access and use the Databases:

1. Go to Classlink
2. Open the Library Resources Folder (Red)
3. Select the Database you want to use
4. Search for the Classlink option If asked to login

• Databases  [Find the Citation Information on each page] 

  • Countries and Cultures [Start with this one!]
  • World Book Student
    • Type the name of your country and select Resource Guides (on the left hand side)
  • Britannica JH - Middle 
    • Enter the name of your country and then select the reading level that's right for you
  • Scholastic Go
    • Type the name of your country and select Factbox (on the right hand side)
    • You can also select the reading level that's right for you in the articles section

• Websites  

  • Currency Converter (Cite it as fiscaldata.treasury.gov)
  • Weather Around the World  (Cite it as weatherspark.gov)
  • Fodors Travel Guide (Cite it as fodors.com)
• Websites with additional information on Countries
  • Travel Advisory (Cite it as travel.state.com)

• Images

  • You may use images from the databases and the three websites I suggested as long as you are citing them on your slide
  • To find more images go to Google Images
    • Select Tools
    • Select Usage Rights
    • Select Creative Commons Licenses
    • If you're not sure about an image contact Mrs. Tabit
    • Do not steal someone's work!
