Special Education Referrals
The Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) and the Committee on Special Education (CSE) are responsible for arranging for evaluation of any student who is suspected of having a disability, who meets the age eligibility requirements, and is a resident of the school district. The evaluation process begins when a written request for an evaluation is made on behalf of the child. Send your written request to the Director of Special Programs and Compliance. The written request should include the student's name, date of birth, current grade level, and describe the intervention services that have been used to remediate the student's performance prior to referral.
