Victor High School will produce Titanic as this spring’s musical. Theater director Jeremy Hawkinson is excited to work with the large cast to tell this familiar story.

Mr. Hawkinson stated, “Everyone is familiar with the story, but we get to tell it in a fresh way.  The show was first produced on Broadway in 1997, so it is not connected to the James Cameron film, but it did win the Tony for Best Musical that year.  It is very orchestral and operatic, with a large ensemble cast that really brings each character’s story to life.”

He added, “Mr. Denner and his crew are planning an amazing set, as usual, and together with the wonderful vocals directed by Miss Mellema, our audiences are in for a wonderful evening of theater.”
