Communications

The Office of Communication works in collaboration with the Superintendent, administrators, teachers, students, staff, the Board of Education, parent groups and community members to educate and inform the school community year-round.

Ways we share important information:

Website

Our website serves as our most important communication hub, connecting students, parents, staff, and the wider community. Its primary purpose is to provide timely and accurate information on everything from academic calendars and lunch menus to school policies and important announcements.

Social Media

The primary purpose of Victor CSD social media is to share engaging and relevant information with the Victor community celebrating student achievement, as well as district news. Our social media sites are operated and monitored by Victor CSD employees.

Social Media Guidelines

We require respectful dialogue on our platforms and will hide or remove disparaging, off-topic, overly personal, combative, vulgar or profane comments, or any comments that are deemed political or divisive in nature or are otherwise a violation of the District’s Code of Conduct. Repeated comments/requests may be removed. Personal attacks on individuals will not be tolerated. Repeated violations may result in the offender being banned from the conversation. In most cases, external links posted by others will be removed.

ParentSquare

We use ParentSquare to share important information and direct notifications with our families. If your child attends VCS, you're already signed up! To customize how you receive these messages, find more details below.

Media Requests

For all media inquiries and interview requests, please contact our Office of Communications.

To ensure the protection of instructional time and minimize disruption to our learning environment, reporters are not permitted to contact school buildings for information or interviews. All interviews with staff, students, or administrators must be arranged through the Office of Communication.

We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a focused and productive educational setting.

If you have a news story or photo you think is worthy of publication or would like to discuss another communication matter, please call or e-mail us.
