VCS uses multiple Frontline programs, including Frontline Central, Recruiting & Hiring, Absence Management, and Professional Growth. The username and password that is set up for one Frontline program will be used for the other Frontline programs, EXCEPT for Recruiting & Hiring, which is a program for applicants (more info below). After signing in, you can toggle between the different Frontline programs by using the dropdown in the top left corner.
Single Sign-On (SSO) is an authentication method that enables users to sign into multiple applications, program, and/or websites with one set of credentials. ClassLink is VCS’ Single Sign-On (SSO) system. If you ever use ClassLink to get into Frontline, you will always have to sign in using an SSO option. You can either continue to use ClassLink or on the Frontline sign in page you will need to click ‘Or Sign In with Organizational SSO.' You will then input your SSO/VCS email credentials. If you try signing in with your Frontline credentials and receive the error message saying, "You have not been granted access to any organizations that use the Frontline insights platform," that means you are an SSO user and need to sign in with one of the SSO sign in options. Please contact the Technology Department if you would like more information about ClassLink.
Frontline Central
All paperwork will be sent and can be completed through Frontline Central. When a form or letter is sent, the recipient will receive an email from ‘no-reply’ and it will be titled ‘Frontline Central Notification: Victor Central School District…” It is important to view/complete everything received. There are also forms in Central that an employee can start themself such as a name, address, or phone number change.
Recruiting & Hiring (previously known as Applitrack)
All job opportunities are posted, and all applications are submitted in Recruiting & Hiring. Username and password for this program may be different than other Frontline programs. This is because Recruiting & Hiring is for applicants and the other programs are for employees.
Absence Management (formerly known as Aesop)
This program is used for scheduling substitutes. Permanent employees can submit requests for substitutes, and substitutes can pick up assignments. This is the only Frontline program that has an app. You can not toggle between Frontline programs in the app as the app if only for Absence Management.
Professional Growth (formerly known as My Learning Plan/MLP)
This program is used to register and track professional development (CTLE) and inservice hours. Human Resources only adds staff accounts to this Frontline program and calculates inservice totals based on the information provided by the office of the Director of Humanities. If you have questions about courses or approvals, please contact the secretary to the Director of Humanities.
