Ending Bring Your Own Device
Personal devices will not be permitted for use in classrooms. Therefore, if your child is using a personal device as their primary computer for school, you will need to come pick up a District Chromebook this summer. There are several reasons we are going to be requiring students to use a district issued device including but not limited to: safety and security of our network, monitoring of content, and SAT/PSAT/ACT and other computer based testing.
Distribution dates and times are as follows:
- Wednesday, August 14th 2024 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Thursday, August 15th 2024 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Friday, August 16th 2024 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Saturday, August 17th 2024 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The distribution will take place at the Technology Department, District Offices Building located near the Early Childhood School regardless of weather conditions.
