Angela Affronti
Angela is a native of Ontario, NY and comes to Victor from the Cortland Enlarged City School District in Cortland, NY where Angela served as an Instructional Technology Integration and Communication Specialist. Prior to her time in Cortland, Angela was an Instructional Technology Integration Specialist for the Central New York Regional Information Center which served schools in the Ithaca, Cortland and Syracuse area. Angela is an alumni of Ithaca College, New York University and SUNY Cortland. Her ultimate goal is to enhance the technology integration at VCS, and have students develop 21st century skills: to think critically, work collaboratively, and solve real world problems.

Julie Bitely
MS, Special Education, Nazareth College

Julie began her teaching career as a Speech-Language Pathologist for Monroe 1 BOCES and then for the West Irondequoit Central School District for 5 years. In 2001, she began her 15 year partnership with Monroe 1 BOCES as an Educational Consultant working with many school districts in Monroe County. Prior to coming to Victor she worked as a Diagnostic and Prescriptive Specialist for 4 years in the Fairport Central School District. Julie also served as Principal of Summer School Programs in the FCSD for several years. Julie was born and raised in Penfield, NY and lives in Webster with her husband and their four children.

Dorothy DiAngelo
MA, Early Childhood Education, SUNY Geneseo

Prior to joining the Victor Central Schools worked at Dalton Elementary School for 20 years teaching children in Kindergarten, First and Second grade. Joined the Early Childhood School as an Administrative Intern in 2006 before becoming Principal in 2006.

Brian Gee

Prior to joining VCSD in 2014, Mr. Gee was a teacher of English at Norwell Middle School in Massachusetts and later at Brighton High School. In 2006, Mr. Gee accepted the position of Assistant Principal at Brighton High School, a position he held until joining VJH. While not at work, Mr. Gee spends time with his wife, two daughters, and their golden doodle, Boston. If he is not at home, Mr. Gee is likely mountain biking, hiking or snowshoeing local trails or playing his guitar. He believes deeply that each student can accomplish great things with the support caring adults.

Leanne Gmeindl
Leanne Gmeindl, a Rochester native, comes to VCS from Connecticut where she has seventeen years of experience working for Plainville Community Schools. For the past four years, she has served as Supervisor of Special Services for Plainville Community Schools. Prior to her leadership post as Supervisor of Special Services, Leanne was the Special Education Instructional Leader for Plainville Middle and High Schools from 2014 to 2016. From 2005 to 2016, she acted as a Special Education Reading Specialist and from 2003 to 2005, she served as a Special Education Resource Specialist for the district. In 2013-2014 Leanne was named Teacher of the Year in Plainville. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Nazareth College in 1995 and in 2005 secured a Master’s degree in Special Education from National University. From 2014 to 2016, she attended Quinnipiac University where she earned a degree in Educational Leadership. Leanne recently completed her certification for Superintendency from Central Connecticut State University. Leanne plans on fostering relationships, collaborating with families and providing the best possible education for students with disabilities.

Melissa Goho
MA, CAS, School Psychology, RIT

Prior to joining VECS in July 2007 as a school psychologist, worked as a second grade teacher, third grade special education teacher, and a school psychologist. In July 2014, began as Assistant Principal in VECS after completing one year as an intern assistant principal. Smiles each day while interacting and supporting our youngest learners growth as well as enjoys swimming, boating, running, and playing with her dogs.

Carrie Goodell

Raised in Michigan and upstate NY. Worked at Marion Central School District for 11 years, 10 years teaching secondary Mathematics and 1 year as a Teacher-on-Special-Assignment. Has been an Assistant Principal at Victor Senior High School for 5 years. Lives in Farmington with husband Bob (Physical Education teacher in Marion) and her son Andrew (11) and daughter Emma (9).

Leah Kedley

Grew up in Penfield, NY. Attended SUNY Geneseo and began teaching in the Rochester City School District. Had various roles while employed by the city for 11 years. Taught Kindergarten, worked as an intervention teacher, spent time as a K-2 Instructional Coach and district-wide K-6 ELA Instructional Coach. Became the Assistant Principal at Roberto Clemente School No. 8 in 2015 before joining Victor as the Assistant Principal in Summer of 2017.
Lives in Penfield and spends time being an Aunt to her many nieces and nephews and traveling whenever possible.

Michele Maloney

Born and raised in Rochester, NY, Attended SUNY Geneseo. Taught elementray school for five years in the Rochester City School District and five years in Pittsford Central School District. Served as Director of Math for East Irondequoit School District before coming to Victor as Assistant Principal in 2005. Lives in Victor with her husband (John). Has three children: John (24), Megan (22), Ryan (20).

Christopher Marshall
B.T., Mechanical Engineering, SUNY Polytechnic Institute 1988
Born in Canada and raised in Newark, NY. Worked for 3 years in the research and development lab at Utica Boilers before moving to Ithaca to work at Fred H. Thomas Associates as a Mechanical Engineer for 5 years. Moved to Rochester in 1992 to work at MRB Engineering Group for 9 years followed by 5 years at Frontier Telephone as a Facility Manager. He has worked at Victor Schools as the Director of Facilities since 2005. Lives in Rush, NY with his wife and their children Molly, Jack, Tim, and Robert who lives in Victor.

Veronica Puglisi

Veronica (Roni) Puglisi began her teaching career as a special education teacher working with autistic children and students with emotional disturbances in the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area. After teaching for five years, she became an Instructional Support Teacher Counselor and Teacher Specialist for the public schools and regional programs in Virginia. Roni moved to the Rochester area and was employed as a special education teacher at Victor Primary School in 1995. She was a self-contained special education teacher and a resource room teacher for seven years at the Primary School. After completing her administrative degree, Roni was a staff developer for the District. She has been an administrator in Victor for the past fifteen years serving as an Assistant Principal at the Senior High School, Assistant Principal at the Junior High School and is currently the Director of Educational and Support Services. Roni has two daughters, Brittany, a fashion merchandiser in NYC, and Morgan, a Clinical Research Coordinator at the University of Pennsylvania.
