October 15th marks the opening day for VCSD CSEA Open Enrollment for the High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) or the Healthy Blue $25/$40 Plan and the annual Flex Spending Account enrollment for co-pay plan participants.
If you have access to a computer, please visit the VCS web page for resources and an application. We hope you have had an opportunity to attend a HDHP presentation explaining the plan and utilized a 1:1 consultation with SMOLA Consulting or Excellus. If you have additional questions, please reach out to Linda Tice and she can meet or direct you to a representative to help you.
Should you elect to join the HDHP during this Special Open Enrollment, we request that you hand deliver your declaration of options, Excellus application, Health Savings Account Application and Health Reimbursement Account (if you are eligible for seniority deposits) as specific questions regarding your enrollment will be asked. If you or your spouse are 65 or older, a 403b enrollment form is required. If you cannot enroll online, paper enrollment forms are included in packets that will be left in every Main Office, as well as Transportation, Food Service and Facilities office.
If you are currently enrolled in Healthy Blue $25/$40 and choose to remain in this co-pay plan, no paperwork is due to our office. If you are enrolled in Blue Point $15 Select or $20 Value, you must select either option listed above or chose the buyout option.
