UPK Registration

UPK is a grant funded program. Due to a limited number of seats, we will conduct a random lottery to select students. If your child is a twin, both children will be entered into the lottery as a single entry. If your child did not receive a slot in the lottery, they will move to a waitlist and may receive a slot as they open. Participation in a Pre-Kindergarten program is not required for a student to be eligible for Kindergarten the following year, although it is great preparation for Kindergarten.

PreK Registration Schedule

VECS Announces 2024-2025 Pre-K and Kindergarten Registration Schedule
 
Pre-Kindergarten registration for the 2024-2025 School Year will begin on Thursday, January 4th. Families can access registration materials online, and can drop off any registration paperwork beginning on January 4th to the Student Registration Office in the VCS District Office, adjacent to the Victor Early Childhood School. The Office is open to the public from 8:00am to 4:00pm M-F.  Registration will be open from Thursday, January 4th to Thursday, February 15, 2024.
 
Children who are four years old on December 1, 2024 are eligible to register for Pre-K. The lottery for Pre-K programs will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024. The lottery is a blind, random process that selects children for the in-district full day and half day programs, as well as the programs available on our Community Based Programs. Notification letters will be mailed the week of February 26. 2024. These results will not be shared over the phone.
 
Additionally, Kindergarten registration for the 2024-2025 School Year will begin on Friday, March 1. Families can access the Kindergarten registration materials online and can drop off any registration paperwork beginning on Friday, March 1 to the Student Registration Office in the VCS District Office, adjacent to the Victor Early Childhood School.  

Thank you for your interest in Victor Central School District.
You must register your child in order for them to attend Victor Central School District. Our registration form is now online. During the registration process you will be asked to provide the following paperwork. (for other examples please see "Registration Requirements")

  • Proof of Residency(1) – Mortgage Statement /Lease Agreement /Utility Bill
  • Child's Birth Certificate
  • Proof of your child's immunization


The three different options for submitting this documentation are:

  • Upload your documents: you will see "attach file" during registration process. If uploading your files it is recommended that you have them ready before starting.

Please provide this information as promptly as possible, as the District is required to determine whether your child is entitled to continued enrollment in the District within four days of your initial enrollment request. Your failure to provide the required information may put your child’s continued enrollment in jeopardy.
