As construction continues on Victor Central School District's capital improvement project, several temporary traffic and parking changes will take place on campus throughout the summer and into the fall. Community members visiting campus for summer programs, athletic activities, and other events are encouraged to plan ahead.

Please note: These changes only affect traffic patterns and parking areas, not scheduled activities. Summer programs, camps, athletic activities, and other events will continue as planned.

July Road Closure

Beginning July 6 through August 7, the road located along the back side of campus near the tennis courts will be closed to allow crews to reconstruct the intersection connecting the new parking lot to the roadway, as well as portions of the adjacent sidewalk.

During this time:

• The roadway will be closed to through traffic.
• Areas identified in red on the campus map will be inaccessible.
• Road closures will be in place at the locations marked in yellow. (Map 1)

Despite the closure, parking will remain available in the lot near the tennis courts and at the Senior High bus loop. Parking for evening and weekend events will also continue to be available in the designated areas shown in green on the campus map. (Map 2)

Fall Traffic and Parking Changes Starting August 24

As preparations begin for the next phase of construction at the front of the Junior/Senior High School, additional traffic and parking adjustments will take effect later this summer.

Beginning August 24, the parking lots directly in front of the Junior and Senior High School will close. Traffic will be rerouted from the main road in front of the Senior High around the overflow parking lot. (Map 3 & Map 4)

Until August 24, those parking lots will remain open. However, visitors should expect occasional traffic delays as construction deliveries and heavy equipment move through the area. A flagger will be on site to safely direct traffic whenever necessary.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue making improvements to our campus. These traffic and parking changes will help ensure that construction progresses safely while maintaining access for students, staff, families, and visitors.
